Japanese Fashion in Cosplay

It might be a kimono, it might be a school outfit, it might even be a mecha or something bigger – there are a wide variety of anime and manga costumes to cosplay from! These outfits stem from a tradition of clothing very different from our own. Let’s look a little closer at the real thing, so you know what you’re seeing, and then we can translate those shapes onto our own bodies.
