Friendship! Effort! Victory! - The Path of the Shonen Manga

When the manga magazine, Shonen Jump, found the formula for creating successful stories, they noticed 3 themes in particular that appealed with readers of that time: Friendship, effort, and victory. For many years, that formula has shown us many stories that have captivated us, and despite being the same formula for decades, Shonen Jump does not aim to fix what is not broken. In this panel we will explore how these 3 concepts have been applied in popular manga such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece.
